The Tema port is located in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. It was built in 1962 to facilitate the rapid industrializatio of the country.
The Tema harbor receives about 80% of the country’s imports and it’s proximity to the nation’s capital makes it the preferred entry point for commercial merchandise.
The Port is managed by the Ghana Ports and Harbors Authority.
